Team Iowa is a group of transplant recipients from the state of Iowa that participates in the U.S. Transplant Games. Team Iowa is a program of the NKF of Iowa, which in 2006 sent 27 transplant athletes, 7 living donors, 2 donor families, and 3 transplant professionals. The goal for the 2008 Games is to send 50 athletes, 15 living donors and 5 donor families.
